Bodies in Balance Massage Spa

Face/Head/Shoulder Massage

Head & Shoulders

A face massage (this is 'not' a facial please come in with a clean face) will increase circulation to your facial tissue, by helping improve blood circulation and boosting oxygen supply to your face leaving your skin better moisturised, fresher and brighter, youthful-looking skin.

Dramatically improve the blood circulation and oxygen supply to your face.  A healthy blood supply feeds your skin surface with vital oxygen and other beautifying nutrients. Blood/circulation is actually a natural beautifier that assists in getting rid of built up toxins that may be showing up on your skin as dry itchy patches or break outs.

Relaxing the face helps transport nutrients to the skin cells increasing immune function & speeding up the skin healing, of facial blemishes, old acne scars and sun damage.

Soft effleurage movements & specific accu-points will relax your whole body as you release the stress of the day/week/  Pressure point massage is ideal for anyone who suffers with tension headaches or sinus problems.  Or just plain 'thinking' too much.  This is a very therapeutic massage treatment {not a facial where specific products are use...I use pure organic coconut oil}

A head massage is a combination of pressure points, effleurage and petrissage for treating the scalp, face, neck, shoulders.  It is extremely effective for treating stress as it works on the areas of the body most affected - the shoulders, upper back, neck, and head.  However, although the treatment focuses on the upper torso and head the effects are felt throughout the mind and body.  It is performed whilst the client is lying down on the table just as a regular massage.  Oils will be used on the face/scalp area for therapeutic benefits.
